Parkedge

A new build low energy house on the edge of Exmoor National Park

A playful and accessible house designed around the needs of Nicks disabled son. Situated on a key corner when entering the village the house forms a transition from built environment to meadow and steep woodland. Views to the surrounding hills and combe are framed with varying window shapes to suit their use and maintain privacy on this open site. The front garden is planted with a perennial wild flower mix and mini orchard to soften the house into the landscape and to encourage biodiversity.
